The apartment is designed in a modern style for a family with a child. The living room will be the parents’ bedroom at the same time, the main feature of the room is the convertible folding bed, which hides behind the furniture facade during the day. We tried to provide as much storage space as possible, avoiding cluttering up the space. The room turned out to be functional: in addition to the main ones, there are also two other zones – small but useful – sports and “beauty corner”.
The area of the kitchen was increased by combining it with a balcony – in addition to the working area, a dining area with a seating area was placed. The kitchen turned out to be restrained, but cozy: they chose gray as the basis for the design, added brightness with accents of green in the wall decor, pillows and living plants.
This apartment has a separate bathroom and a bathroom, but in the same general design and the same type of lighting. Simple and functional.
The nursery is made in gentle pink and gray tones. The room was created for a girl of primary school age, so it was important to equip a comfortable workplace. To do this, we chose a window area and made a podium. The space under the work area did not disappear, it remained functional – the bed was hidden there. The retractable system makes it quick and easy to get and put away the sleeping place. Also, the podium provides additional opportunities for creativity and some games with parents or friends, for example, when the presenter is “on stage” and all other participants are “in the hall”.
Small apartments often become one of the favorite projects – this is a kind of challenge for an interior designer. Restrictions on such parameters as the area and number of rooms trigger the creative process and the search for special solutions for the interior.
