Fur that is lightly stained can often be treated having a bath that is dry. Many bunnies can tolerate a bath that is dry but itвЂ™s important to have patience and mild.
- Put your rabbit in a position that is comfortable. The simplest position for accessing your own feet and underside may be the belly-up position. If putting the rabbit in a belly-up place, make certain a soft, padded surface supports her back and throat. Never force her to stay in this position if she attempts to produce a getaway.
- Take some Corn Starch Powder (baby care product) and use this to any fur that is urine-stained. Don’t use regular talcum powder or corn starch powder with added botanicals as this could irritate your rabbit.
- Rub the powder in to the stained areas on your own feet and inside the hind feet, if necessary. (more…)
